【 Orange daylily 】73x 53 cm, watercolour mix colour pencils
In Taiwan, people like this type of flowers because it got the potential for both aesthetic and commercial use. In my culture, the meaning of orange daylily is about "letting down all your worries”. I would love to enlarge the energy of what I have seen on this "no worry" plant.
In the centre, there is a stem, which is full of vivid energy and extended to the top of this painting. Close to the bottom, red and orange colours are like flying wings with life passion. Because of the shape of the colours, it seems sort of like a Firebird. I had admitted some people would connect this artwork to the flower of paradise bird.
