While I waited for the bloom of roses, this type of mixed colour of the rose got my attention: It's pale pink outside, but the bright red colour in its inner part. That conflict inspires me to connect the drawing to people personality. For me, this type is a shy personality. We have a word in Mandarine: 'Men Sao', describes a character is cold on the outside, but warm on the inside. People have this personality sometimes surprised me. They are not very good at a social activity, but they are usually warm-hearted to their friends. When you became their friend, and then you are their friends forever.
